    Pros Picture, colors, looks

    Cons There isn't any.

  • "Cute monitor, performs well"
    on by Mergatroid Mania

Pros Slim, nice picture, good performance, cheap. No HDMI (sucks for computer monitors).

Cons Wobbles like crazy, connections are in the base, must use base to wall mount, cruddy OSD control takes some getting used to.

Summary I like that they left out HDMI. HDMI is a video standard for TVs, not computer monitors. DVI is just as high or higher resolution (not that it matters since 90% of monitors these days are 1920 x 1080 or more rarely 1920 x 1200 for a 16:10 monitor) and does not cause problems with overscan as some HDMI monitors and TVs do. There is also no display port connector. Hate that the controls and connectors are in the base, requiring the base to be left on if you want to wall mount the monitor. Hate the OSD and power buttons being on the base although with a monitor as flimsy (sleek?) as this I suppose there wasn't much choice. This monitor came across my service bench, and since it's the only one I've seen they must be fairly reliable. It has a nice bright picture, and the pixel response seems as good as any other monitor. Low power and low heat. All in all a pretty good monitor, nothing I would personally purchase but for the fashion sensitive or those people looking for something different this would do the job. Note, AOC has pulled the faux pas of plastering some of the front bezel in stickers and they're not the easily removable type. Personally, in any type of computer or a/v equipment I purchase, stickers are a deal breaker. I've literally seen some companies cover the front of their products in specification stickers and ads. This monitor is not anywhere near the worst offender but if you remove the stickers you may mar the surface of the bezel since it's the crappy gloss black soft plastic bezel all the manufacturers have copied from each other over the last few years.
Great performing monitor, sort of gaudy in the looks department (half black and half white), and poor mounting and OSD controls, and poor choice of location for the connectors.

I have to say it's a decent monitor for the price. Performance is good. If you love the look, go ahead and purchase it.

    Pros Cheap.

    Refunds.

Cons Everything looks PURPLE specially blues, washed colors, awful yellows, cheap LCD panel.

Summary Get an IPS monitor, in fact every single TN panel should be trown to the garbage, they give a bad reputation to LCD monitors.

If every LCD monitor was IPS the prices would be lower and everybody would be happier and it would be easier to make the change from CRTs wich have great colors and contrast.
