"Very Nice Display" on by joemajestic
Pros: Accurate colors and very good contrast. Does work with Windows 7 installed under Boot Camp in spite of what Eric Franklin originally stated in his review (he later recanted that statement.)
Cons: Over-priced by about $200. Screen reflections could be a problem in some rooms.
Summary: I was happy to see that Eric Franklin updated his original comments about the Display not being compatible with Windows running under Boot Camp. If you downloaded the latest updates from Apple, you will be able to use this monitor when booted into Windows. I tested it with both Windows 7 under Boot Camp and from the Mac world using Fusion. It works just fine so those of you that posted negative reviews based on Eric Franklin's original review, you should recant those remarks since you didn't actually test the Display. The 1 star ratings are quite unfair.

"Meets the specifications, integration NOT thought out" on by dfwapple
Pros: Screen color accuracy and aesthetics are top of the line and consistent with Apple products
Cons: Networking is problematic with both MacBook Pro and MacBook Air products where both built in WiFi and wired connection tends to disconnect randomly forcing a reboot of the system. Additionally, the large display is attached to a fixed height stand.
Summary: Initial impressions of the display are very positive as you won't find that many competitors living up to the high specification levels in such a nice form factor. Yet disappointment soon sets in when struggling to have basic integration functionality work with your Thunderbolt capable system. At the premium price one would think you would get a premium and solid product. Cross-check other sources before considering a purchase.

"Amazing quality display that completes my Macbook Air." on by petermaastricht
Pros: Great extension to my macbook air with it very spacious display and HD Camera, USB connectors, wired internet and charging cable.
Cons: It could use a few more USB ports, three is not so many.
Summary: It is an amazing clear and contrast-rich screen. The built-in sound is great and so is the HD camera. I use it to connect my MacBook Air and that works flawlessly. I can either use the MBA opened so the screen and keyboard with trackpad can be used on the MBA or I can hook up my bluetooth keyboard and trackpad and close the MBA. I prefer to do the latter because I don't really need the second screen of the MBA because this 27 inch screen already offers so much desktop space. It comes in really handy when you have to switch windows a lot, you can leave many applications open and copy and paste from one into the other. What is also neat is that it simultaneously charges the MBA so you don't have to clutter your desktop with extra cables. I have hooked up my scanner, printer and hard drive to the display as well as the internet cable. Too bad it only has three USB ports, I wish there were a couple more of those.

"A very good machine" on by bruceswick
Pros: Great picture and improved sound over my older 27 inch IMac.
Cons: Contrary to your review, thie Thunderbolt Cable is not included-it is an option. I would have preferred another FireWire outlet. One for my external hard drive and another for my video camera. Also, I have nothing to plug the Thunderbolt cable into.

"Love this monitor!!" on by drclifl1939
Pros: Beautiful screen, great color...and a lot of real estate to place my work in.
Cons: Too expensive to get a couple more for the other machines in the house. At least for now.
Summary: If you see it, you will buy it! Or if you don't ,you'll wish you did.
