Pros: Nice overall pkg monitor speakers and webcam all in one.
Fast and bright display capabilities.
HDMI Good.
DVI OK
VGA OK
Very nice when displaying in 1080p.

Cons: As with most HD monitors it is NOT compatible with much of any other resolutions.
This means some older software like games or movies will look subpar and some will be unusable.
This is a Native resolution problem, I am aware of no cure.

Summary: I am happy with my new monitor I am still annoyed at the lack of backwards compatibility.
Webcam shoot in 640x480 no stabilization low quality, photo capturing is 1mp still low quality.
It does come with software so you could use it for capturing or even security.
All in all I like mine and would recommend to average users wanting a large HD monitor.
