Cons Not found any.
Summary Bought this to replace a View-sonic 27-inch LCD that got a dead pixel only after 1 year of minimal use, I've been putting the BenQ through some extreme tasks for 3 years and have had with no issues with it.
Been gaming, photo/ video editing and movie watching on it, the colors are clean, crisp unlike some monitors I've owned where the color smudging is noticeable, especially around the edges or they start to bleed after the monitor has been on for some time.
Response time in gaming is great with no apparent lag, and it manages to handle everything my x2 EVGA 770 SC ACX in SLI can throw at it.
Has a quick power up and shut down time too so you're not waiting for long before a picture on the screen kicks in when you power up your PC, the only thing is you're greeted with a boring looking post screen with a huge BenQ logo on it (needs a colorful backdrop).
I'll use this monitor until I find a suitable replacement since the 3 year warranty has expired, I'm not sure how long of life it has left but it's still working in its prime since the day I bought it.
Happy with this monitor.
Pros Huge Display, Cheap Monitor, Full HD, Great colors, Extremely Bright, Controller, Numerous Connections + 2x HDMI ports
Cons Onboard speakers need to come with more power
Summary This is the mother of 27 inch displays. I got it for my flat that I share with a buddy of mine and we can?t take our eyes off of it ever since we got it into the place. Not only is the display gigantic, but its Full HD for a very reasonable price. The M2700HD has numerous connection ports, and it also has dual HDMI ports for those with multiple HDMI console feeds. The monitor is a great way to substitute for a medium sized TV for the living room or personal room as it is much cheaper than a TV. The colors are well presented and have a vibrant glow thanks to the extra brightness BenQ used. The speakers are decent for a small crowd but anymore than 5 people and you?ll have to use external speakers for the better experience. The stand of the monitor is worth mentioning as it looks rather small in comparison to the monitor itself and this was a concern while I was picking it out. But at the store it seemed fine, not wobbly at all. After using it for about a month we can conclude that this monitor?s stand is definitely firm and will not be wobbling as the monitor?s weight (9kgs) also help keep it from moving. Great monitor and definitely recommended to the video and gaming enthusiasts.
