"A Fine Monitor" on
Summary: The PV720A is a wonderful, no-frills, inexpensive 17" LCD monitor. The display quality is excellent, provided you set it to the native 1280x1024. There is only one input and it's not digital. Although it has the capability to "pivot" to a portrait orientation, I don't need that. Nor do I need the built-in speakers, which would likely sound awful next to my pair of Yamaha powered monitor speakers. For the price, you'd be hard pressed to find anything out there that works as well as this one. It performs wonderfully, and now there is so much more space on my desk!

"Great bang for th buck" on
Summary: I spent 2 weeks trying to determine which LCD I was going to buy. After reading the review on Cnet I decided to try this monitor. At over $100 less than the viewsonic I must say this LCD is a steal. The speaker quality is not the best (downright tinny sounding) but the picture is clear and extremely sharp. I would highly reccomend this LCD to anyone in the market for one.
