"Great for general use" on by natemullins

    Pros: bright, compact, sharp

    Cons: none for general use

Summary: Choosing between this and the 2007WFP, I decided on this. I'm not a graphics professional, but I do notice things like sharpness and eye strain because I use my computer all day. I don't know what the other one looks like, and I can't speak to graphics professional uses, but I'm very happy I didn't spend the extra money.

"Works like a champ" on by DGG1

Pros: An easy screen to watch for hours.

Cons: None, great for 99.9% of all PC duties.

Summary: I like the wide 20" screen area for the type work that I do on my desktop. The resolution is very good and plenty sharp. The price is reasonable (I paid about $230). Setup was a breeze. Has 75mhz refresh rate which is easy on the eyes although you may have to tweak your Control Panel Display setting to get it. Response time is quick, I think about 5 ms. Contrast ratio is also high at 800:1. Lastly it doesn't take much juice to power this puppy.

It is just a little workhorse, IMHO.

"Middle of the Road" on by ikies

    Pros: It's big, and cheap.

Cons: Not good anti alias - OK for most games

Summary: I get mixed feelings about this one. The screen is big, and it's aesthetic; however, if you sit within 5 feet of the monitor you notice that the gradients are not as smooth as one would expect. Picture quality for DVDs is ok; the TV tuner that I use (Dell xps 410) is also fuzzy. I would suggest getting an ultrasharp monitor if you're looking for something you can hold a magnifying glass to.

"Great monitor at a budget price!" on by 74roadrunner

    Pros: Cost, brightness, widescreen

Cons: No height adjustment, settings menu is annoying, no "extras", but who cares for the price!

Summary: I bought this monitor for $189 including shipping when my $300+ monitor went out. I kind of intended it to be a temporary replacement, but when I got it hooked up and everything set to my liking, it stayed and when my older monitor returned from warranty repairs, it went on EBay. My friend has the more expensive 2007WFP, and I don't think it's worth the extra cost. If I had to buy another 20" monitor, it would be this one. Text is very sharp, and movies look great!

"Good overall monitor" on by pauly1651

Pros: Good contrast, good viewing angles, color good, game playing good, watching movies, good, photo editing good.

Cons: No adjustable stand except standard tilt.

Summary: A good everyday monitor, a decent size.
