  • "Impressed, good work monitor"
    on by millergrobert

Pros Sharpness is one of the best I have seen. Colors do distort as mention in previous review, but considering I sit 1 foot away from the monitor and never turn it, that does not matter.

Cons None that I can see or have experienced

Summary This monitor is the standard monitor provided to employees at our company for all new PC buildouts. I had no choice in the selection of the monitor, but immediatly checked pricing online to replace my primary monitor at home. I am very impressed with its setup and looks.

Can highly recommend to anyone. Take note, I am not a gamer, and I do not watch movies on my PCs, (Thats what HiDef TVs are for. I use a monitor to access the web and standard business applications.

  • "Unacceptable ideal viewing angle"
    on by qtormanen

Pros Low cost. Large viewing area.

Cons Colors distort quickly when not viewed from directly in front.

Summary I was very disappointed with this monitor. We use Dell's UltraSharp monitors exclusively at work and are very happy with them (particularly the 2407WFP), and I thought the P (professional) series was the continuation of that line. However, the P2210 has an extremely poor viewing angles. For example, sitting in front of the monitor, I could not distinguish between tan and white at both the top and bottom of the screen at the same time! That is, I had to move my head up and down to be directly in front of that portion of the screen (running Microsoft Money) to see the white edit boxes within a light tan background. Totally unacceptable in my opinion. I thought monitors with this limitation were obsolete. I hope Dell doesn't discontinue its Ultrasharp 2407WFP, which remains my favorite.
