"Unacceptable ideal viewing angle"
2.0 starson by qtormanenPros: Low cost. Large viewing area.
Cons: Colors distort quickly when not viewed from directly in front.
Summary: I was very disappointed with this monitor. We use Dell's UltraSharp monitors exclusively at work and are very happy with them (particularly the 2407WFP), and I thought the P (professional) series was the continuation of that line. However, the P2210 has an extremely poor viewing angles. For example, sitting in front of the monitor, I could not distinguish between tan and white at both the top and bottom of the screen at the same time! That is, I had to move my head up and down to be directly in front of that portion of the screen (running Microsoft Money) to see the white edit boxes within a light tan background. Totally unacceptable in my opinion. I thought monitors with this limitation were obsolete. I hope Dell doesn't discontinue its Ultrasharp 2407WFP, which remains my favorite.

This is like comparing apples to oranges, your trying to compare a $200 Dell Professional P2210 (low resolution) monitor to an $800 Dell Ultrasharp 2407WFP (high resolution) monitor, and it is just not a very fair comparison at all, for the casual user the $200 Dell Professional monitor is a good monitor, and to say otherwise is ridiculous. I use this monitor at work and it is a perfectly fine as an everyday work monitor for the casual user.
