Summary: I've never had any issues with the glare on this monitor since I mainly use this at home. It produces great colors and there is potential for this monitor. The only big drawback is the fact that it produces smudgy/shadowy text at the edges of the monitor. However if you actually get up from your desk and look at these smudgy text straight on then surprisingly it gets sharper while everything else around it is smudgy and shadowy. Thus this monitor has horrible viewing angles. I'm definitely going to return this and get something else.

Pros: Glossy screen; cheap for 22" monitors; VGA, DVI and HDMI connectors; VGA and DVI cables included in package
Cons: No 1920x1200; integrated webcam
Summary: This Dell monitor is a not a great one. It is cheap and has the "essential" connectors, VGA and DVI, with respective cables, together with an HDMI connector. The problems are severly damaging however. Dell offers a 1920x1200 on its 17" (Vostro 1700) and even 15.4" (XPS M1530) notebooks, and yet for some reason it offers only 1680x1050 on a 22" monitor...that is ridiculous. And I have no need for an integrated webcam...Dell could have at least offered an option to opt-out. So this product is good but not remarkable or great, and I would not recommend it.

Pros: Nice design. Colors are clear and crisp.
Cons: Aside from not being able to swivel, which for me isn't a big deal, I can't think of any.

Summary: This monitor has got to be the best value out there for a 22". While I have seen cheaper prices for other brands, when comparing the specs none come close to the contrast, value, and overall professional look of this monitor. I use the VGA to connect to my PC the DVI connector to hook to my Mac Book Air and the HDMI to connect to my tv. By selecting the input I have Windows, Mac and Tv all at my disposal by the flick of a switch. This monitor is exceptional and I feel you can't go wrong with the purchase. I use it for everyday tasks as a college student and accountant. Dell is also nice enough to package this model with a VGA cord, DVI Cord, USB cord and everything else needed to connect this monitor to any device it is designed for. Recomended highly.

Cons: Tuning image not for casual, "out-of-the-box" users
Summary: I was not initially impressed when I got this monitor but after a few days of use and fine-tuning, it now produces a great image. Strongly recommended!
