"Really bad! total disappointment." on by azizi26
Pros: Bright with a bunch useless USB inputs.
Cons: Extremely narrow viewing angle. poor contrast from mid section down.
Summary: I own a 2 years old Dell 1905fp and there is day and night difference between the two. When you are looking at monitor at eye level, only the mid section looks good. As you move your eye from top of the display to bottom, you will see a very noticeable shift in contrast. Black text looks incredibly washed out from mid section to the bottom. Pictures look totaly washed out at the bottom with very little contrast. It just makes me wonder what in the world the guys at dell were thinking. Did dell junior took over the company?!! I will certainly return this monitor back to dell.

"Excellent choice!" on by photog_7
Pros: Reliable. Bright. Even brightness. Colors that snap, especially greens.
Cons: None except the price.
Summary: We have 8 of them, which we purchased more than a year ago. They are great. Also, this shape has more lines vertically (1024) than a typical wide-screen between 19-22 inches. This means that photographers can see their vertical photos better than they can on a wide screen monitor. The screen is actually physically larger vertically than the Dell 22" E2210 and has more lines of vertical resolution. I know, because I own them both.
