Summary: If you are looking for a purely VGA flat panel, this monitor is a good choice and is at a highly reduced price currently (probably to clear inventory). However the color banding of this monitor during DVI usage makes it horrible for any non-desktop applications in my opinion. Eiter way, search the Dell forums for "2007wfp color banding" before you purchase this monitor. I'm not sure if CNET just didn't test this monitor in DVI or what but another website had given this monitor high marks (newsfactor.com) but an editor's note on the article refers to the new info of costumers having color banding issues.
