"Waaaay oversaturated." on by madphill
Pros: - Price
- Adjustability
- USB ports
- DVI-DCons: - VERY oversaturated. I'm a designer and was very excited to get this monitor, but now fear it may be useless to me as color accuracy for my print design is important.
- Viewing angle is lacking.Summary: The bottom line is, if you are looking for a large, cheap monitor than it is clear, colorful, and has many features, but it's not for a person looking for color accuracy at all.

"Over-Saturated Colours, Viewing Angle Problems" on by oldschoolchicken
Pros: - Excellent monitor stand offering swivel, tilt, and rotation
- Plenty of video Inputs
- 2 USB InputsCons: - Colour is over-saturated
- Viewing angle less than 40 degrees when looking at the monitor from below. This also means if you place the monitor in a portrait position it has less than a 40 degree viewing angle from the left side of the monitorSummary: Unlike my Dell 2007WFP, the 2208WFP is obviously a discount panel inside a premium shell. Unless you just want it for its great stand and features, but really could care less about the overall quality of the image, you should not buy this monitor. I've talked to Dell tech support, and indeed, most if not all of the 2208wfp monitors being shipped currently have these problems.

"Great monitor for everyday use" on by JimWebsite
Pros: Size, cost, adjustable height, portrait and landscape views
Cons: Occasional screen flickering - like some kind of power adjustment. Not often, but often enough to mention. It's a bit distracting.

"Their limited Warranty is stunningly limited" on by D8VD
Pros: Very Sharp Clear image in the beginning.
Cons: Degrades over rather short period of time. 15 day replacement if something goews wrong. Refurblished after that for the duration of warranty.
Summary: Used for photography. Soon noticed white vertical lines appearing in areas that were plain. Large areas of blue, black etc. They agreed monitor on its way out. This was almost to the year. In the beginning great color and subtle hues. Downhill after that. I would expect other video products similar, since they knew right away what the problem was.
