"The gateway XHD3000 is junk & they know it!"
Pros: Great monitor for 13 months
Cons: 14 months and dead. Gateway says too bad.
Summary: There are now hundreds of people experiencing the demise of their XHD3000
They still advertise this monitor KNOWING that most will fail very soon after the warranty expires.
Gateway does not stand behind the products they sell.
Stay away from Gateway products.
Total garbage.
immediately after the warranty runs out. Gateway assumes NO responsibility for this outright rip off of all their customers. Gateway had me pay to send the junk monitor to TX where they kept it for a week before telling me the warranty had expired and there was not even a repair option for money. Gateway has obviously known for more than a year that they are selling inferior products. Gateway is fully cognizant of the fact that these same products were destined to fail after a short time. This WAS an $18000.00 monitor.They said good luck and take a hike. Unbelievable. Don't ever purchase gateway products with the expectation of quality, longevity, or receiving customer service.
