"Decent with a few drawbacks"
Pros
Screen very bright, with no dead pixels at all that I've noticed. The stand is cheap plastic, and not very adjustable, but I got the monitor for $150, so figured it was good enough for the price.
Cons
Came with internal speakers that sound terrible--tinny, and they don't get very loud even on maximum volume. My desktop speakers are way better. Picture controls not easy to see or intuitive. They should sell a model without speakers for $20 less.

I haven't had it very long, and this is my first LCD monitor, other than the screen on my laptop, but I really like this monitor. I needed something cheap with no frills that would give me a LARGE, bright viewing area at a bargain-basement price, and this model delivered. I won't be going back to a square screen after this. The controls are hard to see, but I don't mess with them after I get them where I want them. This model had speakers but cost about the same as models that didn't. I wish I could've got it without the speakers, as they are useless. But this model was practically the cheapest one Best Buy had ($150; I walked into the store), and it does the job.
