  • "Glossy screen= colors vibrant. Black levels are DEEP."
    on by 111pcgamer111

    Pros Glossy screen
    great build quality
    response time
    color accuracy
    DEEP BLACKS (no black crush)

Cons it doesn't make my breakfast

Summary Best TN panel available. QUALITY DISPLAY!

  • "Beautiful large screen monitor for a good price"
    on by loggrad98

Pros HUGE screen. I know it is smaller than some, but it is a true 16:9 ratio which makes movie viewing phenomenal. Color was true right out of the box. Love the width, can view 2 docs side by side, both readable. Speakers are a plus.

Cons Stand is a little wobbly and only has tilt adjustment - the footprint of the base is not wide enough for the screen. Sits kind of low on the desk but its size makes up for that. Edge frame is a little thick, making it even larger on the desk.

Summary Despite some design flaws (base issue, outer frame too large, difficult to fit on the desk, etc.) the monitor performs way above my expectations. It's response time is fast enough that it can seamlessly reproduce anything my Radeon 5850 can put out. Excellent for online gaming. No blur or artifacts. Have found no dead pixels at all. True 1080p makes for crystal clear, well everything. The color is better than any other monitor I have had including Viewsonic and Dell, and even other HP's. The glossy screen can cause some reflective issues but so far has not been a big enough distraction to affect performance at all. I love it pretty much sums it up. Why spend $100 to $500 more for the same size monitor when this one offers equal or better performance for such a great price?

  • "An inexpensive large monitor"
    on by revenos

    Pros Screen Size
    Resolution
    Cost

Cons A Low Resolution given the huge screen size (strain on the eyes due to a low pixel density)
Image greatly fades when viewed from an indirect angle
The stand is poorly designed (moderately easy to knock over)

  • "Clean, Larger LCD Monitor with 3 inputs and speakers"
    on by Woltkezero

    Pros 25in 1080p =Large viewing area w/very good Resolution@ good price
Tilt/swivle, Built in 2watt speakers not gonna wake up anybody but will save Space on Desk and remove one extra outlet plug :-).3 inputs, VGA, DVI, HDMI. Audio through HDMI or analog.

Cons The Speakers of course are weak, but they could be worse. I only wish that HP would of add a second Audio input for analog, that way I would be able to Use this monitor for my PC and Xbox 360, PS3 is through HDMI so no problem their.

Summary Large monitor, for gaming. Very bright display. You can have multiple Systems pluged in at same time (of course you cant use them all at the same time). I got mine for 259.99 very good deal at frys. Got windows 7 and the LCD was setup automaticly right from the start. I'm a gamer and would recommend this to anyone else who wants a 25in screen. Some people might want a built in camera and Mic, sorry this monitor does not have one. Did I mention 1080p for Blu-ray movies. Well just look for deals on this monitor, for under 270 I belive its worth the purchase
