Pros Excellent color and contrast. Good physical design
Cons Power and VGA cable could be easier to connect.
Summary This display came out over two years ago so there are not many new ones out there these days. I bought this in September 2005 as a gift for my Mom. I picked it because it had much better specs than any other 19 TFT I could come across in the same price range.
I suppose that is due to it being a discontinued model. Nevertheless it is superior to many late model 19" TFT displays (especially considering the price).
The only really negative thing I an say is that we somehow managed to get a lemon (monitor would not "wake up" from standby mode. you had to unplug it). I contacted HP online and they promptly shipped out a replacement.
The replacement had problems too. Namely its VGA connection was out of whack making it impossible to connect the cable.

Cons Power cable can be a real pain if you rotate the monitor often. If it does not fit tightly, it can work itself loose. Cables in the base would have increased the cost. Corner "bumpers" on the bottom 2 corners of the bezel would be nice. It is to easy to
Pros Pivot, no dead pixels, very good text and graphical display. Failed to use DVI input for Linux but analog input works just as good. Tried it on couple of games, so far it is much better than I have expected.
Cons Cables should have been mounted on the base. No USB HUB.
Pros Easy setup, nice stand, no stuck or dead pixels, thin bezel, good image quality. I am using VGA connector and ClearType and it looks great. I would definitely recommend turning ClearType on. I can't say how much better a DVI connection would be. Prett
Cons As mentioned in the review, I wish the cables came out of the base rather than from the back of the panel.
