Cons Our business just purchased about 100 new HP Copaq Pro dc7900 computers with HP L2245wg monitors. I have to say these new monitors are horrible. The image is totally washed out as though too much white has been added to the image.
Summary The display is totally washed out. Blacks are not very black and light grays do not contrast well with the bright whites.
The color temperature is totally off and viewing the screen from any slight angle throws it into a red shift.
The bottom line is that this monitor does not distinguish contrast levels. The front panel contrast setting is just another brightness setting. Turning both completely down to 0 and the display still shows a clear image.
