Pros Great design: they are even a bit similar with Apple monitors.
Brigtness: is even more than enough.
HDMI: you can play PlayStaion while you wife's watching Hell's Kitchen.
Default settings: seem to be the best choice, don't bother with adjustment.
Cons No speakers: so connecting a console w/o sound.
Exterior black frame: may be less. There are 2 of them in fact. When the monitor is turned off, it seems to be frame-less. But when you turn it off, you understand they have stolen 0,5" from every side.
Summary This monitor is ideal for home usage and, no doubt, the best choice for its price. The first time I've seen it in Internet, I couldn't believe that this miracle costs nearly $200. But it's true and I think no one will regret buying this monitor. You will be impressed even more if you replace some old model.
Pros Screen is bright, crisp and clear. Even the smallest text is legible.
IPS screen has wide viewing angle - Very vivid!
Has HDMI as well as DVI and VGA connections.
Tilt stand is sturdy - no wobble.
Power supply is a separate brick - monitor runs cool.
Cons Has no height adjustment. No VESA wall mount. No USB ports. Plastic stand. No Speakers.
None were a concern for me. But they may be a consideration for others.
Summary This monitor is just what I wanted. The first thing I did was to load a black screen saver to look for bad/stuck pixels - No problems!
The HP store online had a great price for this monitor that I couldn't pass up - more than $20 less than the posted Buydig price after adding the $15 LogicBuy coupon - even after they added the State tax. Got it fast - Ordered on a Sunday, got it the following Tuesday.
I bought this monitor to replace an HP 2007 20inch monitor and I am very pleased with it. The difference is like night and day!
