Pros
Bigger. Good image quality after some fiddling. Somewhat stylish design. Easy initial setup out of box. Intuitive menus. Swivel base was an unexpected plus. This price catagory has lowered our expectations regarding base adjusting features.
Cons
Did LG have a container of old VGA cables they needed to get rid of? Of what use is this? Not including a DVI cable is stupid. The fading red clear trim at the bottom tries too hard to be stylish. A USP port would be nice. Higher resolution.
Summary
I like this LCD very much, given its $360 price. I settled for this because the resolution I want cost too much. I also own the Samsung P2770HD and prefer the LG's menu system. Image quality is about the same but the Samsung's clear border is better looking. ... Read full review
I like this LCD very much, given its $360 price. I settled for this because the resolution I want cost too much. I also own the Samsung P2770HD and prefer the LG's menu system. Image quality is about the same but the Samsung's clear border is better looking. I like the LG remote better too. On advice from a poster on Newegg, I adjusted the green whateveryoucallit to full minus to get blacker blacks and whiter whites.
