Pros: Solid feel, lightweight actually quite sleek and classy

Cons: Hellish setup, weak calibration for touch screen, not for the impatient or PC novices.,

Summary: I bought this for my mancave/bar remodel. I wanted a nice small wall mounted touch screen to act a controller on for my PC music library.

Okay with today's low monitor prices, $145 (on Amazon)doesn't sound like a big bargain but I very much wanted a classy little touch screen for my guests to pick out music. ELO was just too expensive.

As a monitor, it's okay. I wouldn't use it for a conference presentation but for a music library jukebox it's suitable. Lots of people will complain about the touchscreen not working. Yes, it does work but you've got set things up properly. First install the monitor driver only. Then reboot. Then install the touchscreen driver and reboot again. DO NOT plug the monitor in until you've installed the drivers! (That's smart with any USB device) Then you have to calibrate the touch screen. There's a program for that. The X's will appear on the four corners of your main monitor but maybe not on the MIMO. Touch the four corners of the MIMO anyway. Then lo and behold you'll find the touch is still just WAY off! The secret is select Turn Notebook Monitor Off. You cannot use your main monitor and the MIMO at the same time. You'll have nothing but frustration. If you use MIMO alone as your only monitor (which is exactly what I planned), you'll find that the touch is quite "close enough" for big button media apps. A light swiping touch won't do. It's not an iPad, folks. Think ATM not Apple for this one.

As a novelty to augment your big display at your next conference room dog and pony show, it's a fail. You'll impress no one thumping and stabbing this screen to show a Power Point or spreadsheet. But as a wall mounted controller for a media center, it's just right. As a programmer and general geek, I'm a bit more tolerant with cranky devices. I have a high-tech reputation to protect. I couldn't have a man cave without a touchscreen.
