Save your hard earned money!
Pros: Great Police Roadblock, Perfect for saving parking spaces, large enough for 1 mile target shooting
Cons: Poor warranty service, terrible customer support, short product lifespan
I should have read the reviews on some of their retailer's websites for past owner reviews (the PROVIEW.COM website lists their major retailers - CircuitCity.com has some great comments). Check out anything from their product line! Eveyone reports that they've been nothing but plagued with issues - static, buzzing, power drop outs, dead screens. JUNK!
And EVERYONE reported that they GOT NOWHERE with the warranty repair & customer service departments. Some sent their units in 4-5 times and they still didn't work. Some still didn't work when they got them back!! I didn't get anywhere with them either - and they wanted a fortune to repair a piece of JUNK TV. And they'd only warranty the repair for 90 days... Oh, did I mention that if it failed in the 90 days that I HAD TO PAY THE FREIGHT TO SHIP IT BACK?! JUNK!
Did I mention that you have to ship your HUGE display to them for evaluation during the warranty period - they do not have repair facilities across the country (TX & CA). Under warranty the consumer has to pay the freight to ship it to them!!!??? No wonder they all end up in the dumpster!! JUNK!
SAVE YOUR MONEY and buy a higher end tv.
REMEMBER WHAT THE ROLLS ROYCE DEALER ALWAYS SAYS.... YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.
By the way, my 13 month old unit (Dec. 2006) is in the dumpster behind my apartment building, for anyone that wants it. Dumpster pick up is on Tuesday! JUNK!
Oh, did I happen to mention that they are JUNK?
