"Dont waste your money on a Samsung. Poor Quality to Price ratio"0.5 starson
Summary: Not only has Samsung not honored the rebate promised, but the power supply fried the monitor the minute it was installed!! Samsung honored their warranty and repaired the monitor. But when I went to the repair shop to pick up my monitor, I saw many Samsung 150's and 170's there for the same problem. The repair guys told me that this monitor is of poor quality. I regret buying the monitor as I wait for this problem to most probably happen again and I have never had this problem with anything electronic in my house; ever. As for the TV-tuner, I was disappointed at the grainy picture. For the amount of money I paid, I really expected more from Samsung. Let's be honest, when one thinks of a good monitor the name Samsung does not come to mind. The only reason I purchased this monitor was that it was the only one (at the time) with the numerous inputs. I was willing to sacrifice name brand for features. The only reason Samsung can justify it’s cost is due to it’s TV tuner and RCA inputs. Now knowing the problems with the power supply and TV-tuner quality and doing a cost analysis, I would not recommend this monitor or name brand to someone looking for a sharp-crisp picture producing monitor and/or a PC TV-Tuner.
