"Great monitor, perfect for home use, brillant color" on June 5, 2005 by arragon

Pros: Can be hung on the wall, rotate to protrait for document and the internet

Cons: None what so ever, this monitor is perfect

Summary: I order the monitor online with a $200 rebate from Samsung. The monitor looks elegant and the color is brillant. I hung my monitor on the wall to save even more space on my desk top. Rotating the monitor to protrait format is an awesome feature. I use it for documents and viewing the internet. I would recommend this monitor to anyone thinking of purchasing an LCD monitor. The 19" screen is perfect for home use and for video editing.

Pros: This monitor replaced a 17" Samsung 170T LCD owned for 3 years. Like all Samsungs the display is bright, vivid and second to none.The three year waranty best in the industry but what makes this monitor stand out is the design of the monitor. Someday all

Pros: Attractive Design.

Cons: Software controlled settings. Limited height adjustment.

Summary: Samsung apparently no longer supports this monitor with Magic Tune Software. Therefore, if the CD gets lost, it looks like you're stuck with whatever setting it comes up in. In my case, it's a bit dim and thus not an enjoyable display.

Pros: I've had this monitor for 5 years now and it works like I just took it out of the box. This monitor still has better quality then a lot of the LCD monitors on the market right now.
Samsung should still produce this monitor.

Cons: The ONLY thing I do not like about this monitor is the height adjustment mechanism, its annoying to adjust monitor height but thats a minor issue.

Summary: If you can find this monitor used somewhere definitely buy it over a brand new monitor for the same price, the quality will be way better.
