Pros: inexpensive and bright with good contract
Cons: very poor color, strange grain and noise
Summary: This monitor has serious color problems. I don't have the calibration equipment the other reviewer has (it costs more than the monitor) and after literally hours of adjustment I was not able to get the color to match my other LCD monitors. The colors have erratic contrast gradients and are highly clipped for a saturated, cheezy look. There are several preset color modes but they all look ridiculous. It's useless for photo or video editing but if you don't really care about accurate color I guess it would be a good value.

Pros: The screen itself is great, no problems whatsoever. My brother & I have the same model, and they both had 1 messed-up pixel when we got them.
Cons: Something is faulty with the stand that holds the monitor up - this happened to both me & my brother, so on 2 monitors. The metal pieces connecting the stand to the monitor bent and the monitor now permanently leans forward/down. It is not fixable.

Cons: its not a 43 inch monitor hahahahaha
Summary: Cranked this baby to the max my video card could handle (1680x1050) and even with (only) 60Hz refresh, it looks marvelous. Out of the box, the colors seem fine. Monitor is bright. Quick-select multi-mode feature is nice too.

Summary: I had a 21 Apple Studio Display (crt) that was taking up too much desk space. I checked CNET for reveiws and came across this model, no review. Best Buy had this model on display. Once I found a price that I liked and I purchased it. The stand is nice, rotates easliy and can extend up. Once I calibrated the lcd I was really happy with the results.(gretag macbeth's eye-one display & eye-one match 3.6.1)I also like the fact that it is a Widescreen, it's really handy for all the dialogue boxes in photoshop. I would recommend.
