"Extraordinarily good Monitor but trickysoftware install"
Pros: Excellent display and appearance neat small foot print
Cons: Rather Costly
Summary: Easy to connect to the PC, the 244T immediately diplayed perfectly in digital mode with my Nvidia 6800 card at the resolution of the previous iiyama monitor (1600x1200) and I set it to its native 1900x1200 (at 60hz) using Windows XP Pro SP2 drivers.
The Samsung software came on a bad CD which hung my system as soon as I attempted to install it, forcing a reboot.I had a lot of hassle with this.
Eventually I got the latest drivers and the Magic Tune colour tuning software from SEC web site. With the right software this is an extraordinarily good monitor. There are four preset mdisplay settings, whci cna be tuned, avalable at the click of a mouse.
This is a first rate piece of hardware provided you get the softwware correctly installed. It is the best monitor I have had in twenty years experience! It has changed my life being able to see two A$ pages full size side by side with my rather old eyes.
