Pros: great subtly of shading and shadow detail, great for DVD and photo, superior image quality and inputs to 24" Dell

Cons: external 16:9 material streches to 16:10, price (but actually it just dropped so not bad now), slight touch of backlight bleed and lag

Summary: Don't pay any attention to official review here. gradients are way better than for 2407, despite claims here, no banding or tinting with pink and green. also has better DVD playback despite crazy claims in review on this site. look at some character dressed in black, on 244t you can see detail, on 2407 it looks dull, flat, mushed together. read reviews on other sites like trusted reviews.

amazing gamma profile without compression at bright end or dark end (2407 has bad dark compression) whether you chose to set brightness max or way down (2407 loses even more shadow detail when brightness dialed down).

might have slightly less inputs that Dell, but hey at least it does 1920x1080i->1920x1080p component delacing and not 1920x1080i->1920x540p delacing!

it does frustratingly strech 16:9->16:10 when using external inputs, has slight touch backlight bleed and trace of lag (dell also does the stretch thing unless you use mulitmedia mode, but that bands so badly it loses like 3/4 of all shades).

remembers OSD setting changes.

awesome, great for games, movies, photo, design, etc. only the nost diehard FPS player could find fault (or someone who relies heavily on external 16:9 sources).
