"Mediocre At Best"

Built in digital tunerCons: Terrible colors
Contrasts problems
Brightness issuesSummary: Don't mean to insult the reviewer, but I really don't know what monitor he was looking at.This monitor sucks for pretty much any games with fast motion, plus the colors aren't quite right no matter how much you tinker with the settings.Small text is terrible and pretty much can't be corrected,as it shows up blurry.
I have an Acer X233h monitor and was looking to upgrade in size so that I could double my gaming monitor as a larger sized TV for the bedroom. To be quite honest, the only thing that the Samsung has over the Acer is size,a digital tuner, and a remote.
There is some noticeable ghosting in this monitor that there is absolutely no way that I could recommend anyone getting it for anything outside of basic PC use.Ghosting is most noticeable when watching darkly lit screen images while in a dark room.
I'm taking it back soon to get a monitor of the same size with better contrast ratio(Samsung has a 50000:1 but I've seen others of the same size with 100000:1)and a better response time(Samsung has 5ms).
I would've rated this monitor higher if the issue with ghosting wasn't there, even though the contrast and brightness aren't really up to snuff.Alas,I can't give this monitor over 2.5 stars
