Pros Performance is top notch and capabilities, well it has all of them from picture to 3d to TV it is the coolest to be had. Next stop ultra high res. but not until later 2013 when there will be content that will use it.
Cons Does not swivel.
Summary My favorite by far. So thin and elegant it is my choice for the office bar none..
Pros 120 Hz, 3D, Touch controls, great picture, comes with 3D glasses, Display Port, DVI and HDMI. Easy to enter into 3D mode, will convert some 2D content to 3D. Works with PS3 3D (including 3D Blu-ray).
Cons Not capable of being wall mounted, ac adapter instead of an internal power supply. Because of the design, the stand cannot adjust for height or swivel. Gloss screen instead of matt (lots of reflections), cross talk when using 3D.
Summary This is a pretty freaking nice monitor. I managed to get it on sale for $549 CN and it's pretty much worth that price, although I would not pay more for it.
The 120 Hz is nice. It does make some games feel more responsive.
The reflections from the glossy screen are very annoying (honestly I don't know why anyone would want a glossy screen if it could be avoided).
When I play games in 3D I get a lot of cross talk showing up as a shadow or dim ghost image. This is mostly on the right eye for me, and personally I believe it's caused by crappy 3D glasses (the shutters not blocking very well on one side). On-line reviewers mention this same problem. If I ever need another pair, I will look for better ones. However, the 3D does look amazing. I think it would look much better with better 3D Glasses.
It comes with a DVI-D Dual Link cable for 120Hz (you won't get 120Hz over a VGA D-Sub cable, or over HDMI, but DP apparently does support 120Hz).
Unfortunately you cannot adjust the stand in any way except tilt, so if you have another different monitor you will have to use its stand for matching the height.
The monitor accepts audio through the HDMI port, and has analogue audio output which looks to be stereo-only (it's labeled "headphones" but can be used for speakers as well).
The picture is a little above average, the colour is great, there are zero motion problems, the 3D is pretty fun (even with the crosstalk), there's a little more response in some games, it's amazingly stylish, extraordinarily thin (not including the base, which is fairly heavy for good stability).
Why is it a keeper?
2. 3D is pretty good.
3. Amazing style.
Pros Really love this monitor when I'm using it =D
Big, clear, colors/colors are A+ =), 120hz for gaming (I can never go back to 60hz, 120hz is just basically seeing your enemy or not seeing your enemy ;)(60hz))
Cons About $500 AU, but worth every cent =)
Summary Best 3D 120hz monitor available at the moment!
