Pros: great resolution with good source material ( hope this improves with full digital shift in June).
Cons: Virtually no amplification. This varies by broadcast channel, the hd channels being much quieter in my neck of the woods (OTA). Some problem recovering from sleep mode. Artifact in top 1" of screen after 2 weeks use (RMA'd).

"Fits The Bill As Second Monitor & HDTV In One!"
Pros: As advertised: monitor + HDTV. Setup was straight forward. Price wasn't out of budget thanks to Best Buy's price matching. Picture quality is great & viewing angles aren't bad. Speaker quality is fine for TV. Headphone jack for desktop speakers.
Cons: No composite input. Included stand tilts up not down (what's the sense in that?) - this causes "double vision" text in monitor mode when elevated. Trouble finding remote code for Dish Network's ViP622 DVR, but tech support was able to help with that.

"Very good monitor/TV for the price, poor viewing angles"
Pros: Excellent connectivity options. Have hooked it up to my home-theater and Laptop (Using VGA). Clear picture, good flesh-tones when viewed straight-on
Cons: No downward tilt. If the TV is 1-2 feet over the eye level (for example viewing while lying down on bed), the picture appears to be dark. No downward tilt ensures you cannot fix this. Poor speakers, though I don't rely on those.

"Great monitor, Great TV... what are you waiting for?"
Pros: Going from a 15 in. monitor to this was quite a wow, but after getting accustomed to the size I can't see working with anything that small again. The screen is great for all basic computer tasks... I have not played any games on this screen.
Cons: I did hook it up to my cable, and it worked quite well. Do not expect to get good sound out of the speakers though. They sound a bit tinny. If you are going to buy this monitor, invest in some decent desktop speakers for sound.
