CNET Editors' Take

CNET did not review the Samsung SyncMaster T260HD, but we did review a smaller model in the series.

Review: Although CNET did not review the 25.5-inch Samsung SyncMaster T260HD, we did review the 24-inch Samsung SyncMaster T240HD. Judging from their specification sheets, the two Samsung monitors are essentially identical but for screen size, so we expect the quality of the 24-inch model to provide a good indication of how the 25.5-inch set will perform. For more information, refer to the full review of the Samsung SyncMaster T240HD.

"Thank God for Costco Return Policy" By cal_mishdoob

Pros Everything I read and heard said this is a great monitor and I was not disappointed with the final result. Games play great and you can view two documents, side by side. I love it.

Cons Monitor 1: Four dead pixels in one cube.
Monitor 2: A smattering of dead pixels (5 - 10) scattered across the screen.
Monitor 3: A gray cloud of pixels (100s?) on the upper left quadrant of screen.
Monitor 4: Works great.

Summary The monitor (when not defective) is a great monitor, beautiful colors, great size.

However, I would suggest that you know the store's return policy prior to buying it as you might have to return it more than once.

I expected more from Samsung.
