"Over priced with lousy 3D." on by eots2
Pros: Large display and interesting design.
Cons: 3D has severe ghosting.
Samsung support is horrible.Summary: Samsung's quality control on this model is very poor, I tried several of these monitors and returned them all because of the ghosting, which varies in severity from one monitor to another proving this is a quality control issue. The last one I returned had such bad ghosting there was a complete ghost of every image beside the original which then overlaps onto other images and just makes the 3D completely useless.

"CNET reviewed the wrong monitor..." on by Spahooni
Pros: Basically, CNET should have reviewed the S27A950D if they are going to place this in the monitor section. The one reviewed here is not optimized for a computer and therefore is worthless to compare to other monitors. The T is for those who want to use it
Cons: Other than the price, nothing.

"An excellent 3D TV/Monitor" on by trompfy
Pros: I love 3D and I am a huge fan of it.
Cons: Netflix won't activate and it doesn't come with Wi-Fi
Summary: I bought this so I can watch Home and Away and view my Photos in 3D with the 3D Converter also with the 3D Converter I can watch normal TV in 3D as well.

"CNET should make sure they have the correct model #" on by dugnl
Pros: I have the 950D. Bought it from Amazon.com. The link on CNET's page points to the Amazon and they call it a straight 950 not a D. The back of my monitor shows model 950D. It has 1 HDMI, 1 DVI and 1 Displayport. The other model....the one in CNETs vi
Cons: Included TriDef software works with any video card in a side by side mode. However, the game settings will need to be reduced or else the game will crawl. Tridef software only works with Radeon 5000 series and above (I verified it does not work with a 4
Summary: This is a great monitor. Very expensive. Very confusing naming scheme....CNET needs to verify.
As I was stating before CNET cut my review off, the 950D has 1 HDMI, 1 DVI and 1 Displayport. The monitor in the video has multiple HDMI, a coaxial input and is therefore not the "D" version.
Updated on Sep 3, 2011
Updated on Sep 15, 2011This is not the "D" model!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is just the regular 950. The "D" model has a displayport. CNET doesn't seem to understand. -
"Best looking monitor... ever" on by cminor102
Pros: Looks great, lots of connections, I personally love the 3d, super clear, and im a huge fan of the magic angle. Also i love smart tv.
Cons: Netflix wont activate and it dosent come with wifi. not too bad considering i use ethernet, and no mac support for 3d gaming.
Summary: if you,ve got the money to put up for this monitor, do it. I used to have an apple cinema display and i think that for $200 less this has 15x more features than the apple.
