"Average to Good image quality. Not very bright." on by yroc2005
Pros: Great Price. Average to good image quality for the money (not excellent, but definitely a decent image for a monitor of this price). It is one of the cheapest 22" monitors. (You can find it for around $150)
Cons: The monitor had 3 dead pixels in the very center of the screen straight out of the box!! It was very noticable the first time i turned it on. Monitor looks cheap...thin cheap stand w/ cheap looking plasitic. Not very bright. Not enough contrast.
Summary: If you get one with no dead pixels, then its a good monitor FOR THE PRICE. The image quality isnt too bad...but isn't the greatest either. It would be better if it was brighter with more contrast. I only used it for 3 days before i returned it because of the dead pixels. I still can't believe monitors are manufactured these days with dead pixels...especially in the direct center of the screen!! I was extremely disappointed with this.
If you're looking to spend a little more in the range of 200 - 250, then definitely get something else. I got rid of it and went with the Viewsonic VX2233wm (22" that can do 1920x1080) It's A LOT brighter with much more vivid colors much more contrast adjustability.
