"Didn't like this game at all!"
Pros: I love Digimon, and that's about it.
Cons: Sound effects are annoying, gameplay is repetitive and boring, graphics are average
Summary: After I read a guide to how to play this game, nothing was obvious at all. I spent almost three years finding solutions to this game, and trust me, too hard doesn't mean entertaining. Anyway, when I got this game, I was pretty annoyed. It looked like a bigger, 3D version of Pokemon on GameBoy. The gameplay is repetitive, the controls are decent, but this game gets very boring. All you do is train your digimon (and it's not easy) First you have to train your rookie, then after training the digivolve form of your rookie Digimon. It's basically training two Digimon at once which was very annoying. Money (bits) once again, was not easy to get, and the adventure of this game is way too long and a lot of the things you must do in the game is totally not obvious.
There are also places were I've spent days in, such as the Mobius Desert which is not easy to get out of, even with a guide. Some of the bosses are also very hard, and the constant annoyances from random Digimon attacking you in the wild is also very frustrating. At least the first game (Digimon World 1) shows the actual wild Digimon walking and about to walk up to you, but in this game, you basically get caught anywhere by random battles without you seeing anyone. If I had to recommend this game, I wouldn't. I don't even see how it's rated E for everyone, I certainly didn't find this easy at all, not even for a 17 year old like me.
