Summary: This lens really is a must-have. You can find them on sale here and there for 50-60, and the image quality is superb. The lens is fast enough, and accurate, and will provide you with beautiful portraits, great depth of field, and a very nice bokeh.
Sure, the body is made of a very light plastic. So you won't want to drop it. But come on, you don't want to drop *any* camera lens right?
Even if you DO drop it, if it breaks, it's cheap enough to replace. Try saying that about an L lens right?
In some aspects this lens will provide almost L accuracy and results. Love it. :)
