Pros
VR is extremely reliable and fast (havent had a single unfocused shot, Although i dont do much continuous shooting, still need to give it a try)
the zoom is incredible
no distortion around the mid-range zoom
Gives any DSLR a mean look
Tamron, enough said
Cons
Not the greatest lens for High speed continuous shooting
Lens is heavier than most (so heavy when the lens is facing downward it can expand due to gravity hence having a lock when retracted all the way)
sometimes when fully extended the lens can struggle
Summary
For the price after taxes hitting you around 7 and some change this Tamron preforms much better then most EF-S and USD lens for Canon and no lens by Canon has the zoom range that this Tamron delivers. Overall a solid lens
