"wide ratio zoon"
Pros: wide framing options
Cons: washed out colors and less than sharp at long end
Summary: too much of a good thing. anything that zooms this far can't be as good as a lens with a smaller zoom ratio. I own one and wish I didn't. the colors are washed out and the long end is less than sharp, only good for 4x6 prints. it's slow also, at f6.3 good light is a must. Good for casual snapshots only, not for making big prints for display.
