Apple Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger

Pros: Extremely fast, stable, feature-rich, and easy to use

Cons: 200+ features slightly exaggerated

Summary: I never thought Mac OS X could improve, but once again Apple has proven me wrong. Not only is this new release much faster, but it gains dozens of new features, least of all Dashboard and Spotlight, which are fantastic. I'll never use my computer the same way again thanks to Spotlight, and Dashboard simply makes my life 5 orders of magnitude easier. In addition, Apple's streamlined the entire OS, making it far easier to use and understandable (and prettier) than any version of Windows I've ever seen. Microsoft keeps screaming about Longhorn, but I think it's already here, in Tiger. Don't wait 18 months. Make the switch now. I promise you won't regret it.
