"Unreliable Solutions!"
Pros: Nice web interface for account management.
Cons: Poor customer support. Expensive. Dog slow servers (at least shared). Lack of session variable maintenance. Slow database. Long issue resolution. In fact, NEVER has an issue been resolved, although they ALWAYS say it has.
Summary: Poor customer support. Every time you call tech support, the issue is not resolved, they open a ticket and get back to you 2-3 days later. In other words, why not just have an online ticket creator, why waste my time calling to open a ticket. In addition, the hold times are ridiculous. Just yesterday I waited 25 minutes, finally got to a person, after 5 minutes of the same run around (problems are never resolved, they just talk fancy like they are on in), call was dropped (either my end or theirs), had to call back even though they have my number, another 22 minute wait to talk to someone. Of course, same old same old, open a ticket, their Tech Support can do NOTHING. When it is all said and done, problem not resolved. In particular, I had a full transaction log file, which prevented me from updating my database table. Since I am not allowed to purge the file (which has a ridiculous low size), I had to have an "engineer" purge it, which i received an email at 7:30 am saying it had been deleted. Immediately I went to modify my table, I get the same error message, "transaction log file full", can't modify my table. OMG. So either, they didn't do it, or don't know what they are doing. I had to open another ticket! Wait 2-3 more days. It is still not fixed. I transfer my service now.
Another issue I had was with session variables. They use some load balancing software (OK), but there is no way to maintain session variables. each time I made a server request, it bounced me to another server...on that server, session ID was different. Things in the shopping cart were not the same, etc.
Also, NS is Expensive.
