  • "Doesn't work"
    on by Gresheff

    Pros None. Unit never worked.

Cons Tried to connect to a brand new T420s, win 7 certified Intel adapter. SW installs and pairs fine, but moving mouse does not move cursor. Replaced the unit twice. Same result. Verified with HP customer support that laptop should work with mouse. No help, j

Summary I am an experienced WiFi developer. This is a poorly designed product. HP support is more interested in "look and feel" of help, and is clueless about how to solve technical Issues.

  • "HP wifi mouse is as worthless as whistle on a plow!"

Pros Looks nice. Uses common batteries.

    Cons Will not work.

Summary I take it out of the junk box every few months, down load a driver and fool with it for an hour then throw it back in after it doesn't work.

  • "Frustrated!"
    on by hhadaway

Pros Nice design. Doesn't use a USB port.

Cons I purchased this mouse several months ago and my patience with it has run out. I lose the connection with the mouse about every other day. The only way to reconnect the mouse with the computer is to restart the computer.

Summary Don't waste your money on this product.

As a very experienced computer user I spent my 3 hours of time to make it work, but unfortunately I could not success at all.
As a satisfied HP user, I will never and ever do same mistake of buying a HP accessory.

  • "Great Option to Free Up a USB Port"
    on by toddwest24

Pros Easy to connect. Good ergonomics - compares favorably to Logitech mice. Easy to use control panel. Tilt wheel allows for left and right scrolling.

Cons Smooth-rolling track wheel doesn't provide feedback. Cover popped off a few times during initial use but seems OK now.

Summary Overall a good option for those who use a laptop with a limited number of USB ports and want to keep them open for other peripherals. Bought this to replace a 5-yr old Logitech mouse and, so far, am satisfied with its performance. Needed a mouse that connected using wi-fi or Bluetooth and the Logitech Bluetooth mouse connection was unreliable. No problems with the HP.

    Would recommend.
