"Look for another mouse."
on by trollking2000Pros None. I got it as a gift and didn't have to pay for it.
Cons Jerky. Battery flap kept popping open, had to tape it shut. It worked for two weeks then died. USB stick, loose fitting in port.
Summary Terrible product. Thankfully I got it as a gift and didn't dish the cash for it myself. The USB stick is so long it bangs into things on your desk. It's ill fitting and loose. The battery flap at the back pops open every time you use a button or the wheel. When it did work, it was jerky and not very precise. It died completely after only a couple of weeks.

"Responsive, durable, compact. Loved it, bought another"
on by SiliconValleyDudePros Very responsive on most any surface, even getting passable action on something soft like a couch or smooth carpet. Compact, simple design fits well but does not have the ergonomic finger grooves of others. Very durable, surviving drops many times.
Cons Absolutely none, relative to where technology is at this point. Sometime soon, a computer company (hello Apple?) should be able to build in a transceiver for wireless mouse and keyboard connection. My point being: Don't lose the USB connector.
Summary I recommend the HP Wireless Laser Mini Mouse for the overall feeling I've had for two years of owning a product I always know I can count on. So impressed, in fact, I bought two more -- one for an extra, the other as a present for a family member.

"Great mouse for only 20 bucks"
on by idnbiPros I could not be happier with my new HP laptop and mouse. Both work very well. The mouse seems fragile at first, but just keeps on working!!!
Cons I've found no cons with the mouse, unless HP can sell it for less than 20 bucks

"Doesn't work"
on by DeadWolfSAPros It's wireless
Cons freezes and refuses to work sometimes. Pointer will fly across the screen due to poor detection.
Summary If your thinking about getting a mouse you may want to pass on this one. While the price may seem right it's not worth it. Chances are that you'll get angry at it while playing TF2 because it froze up and slam it on your desk breaking it the rest of the way. The mouse freezes on you. It's not a signal error either because the receiver flashes when you move but nothing happens on screen. I had mine less than 3 months and it just stopped working all together. Don't waste your money on this awful piece of garbage.

"Herky jerky, imprecise movement."
on by jpdoohue171Pros Small. comfortable
Cons Herky jerky, imprecise movement.
Summary Used it on an iMac 24" Core 2 Duo. Extremely imprecise tracking. Difficult to land on a specific target on screen. Jumps back a little - jumps forward a little - never in the correct spot. I tried it with my Toshiba laptop and it was just as bad. Maybe it is interference of some kind, or maybe it is a broken item, but I can't use this mouse. This is the worst mouse I have ever used. I'm taking it back to Staples.
