"Great travel mouse as well as everyday laptop use"
Pros: Same LxW dimensions as regular mouse, but much lower profile
Cons: For 20 bucks, how can you complain?
Summary: The CNET rating of the Ci70LE (same mouse, different color) seemed a bit nit-picky to me. The lack of a wired back-up USB cord is a con? The size vs. the Ci75 makes it necessary for "trade offs"? I demo'd the Ci75, and it's both too small (even for travel) and too flimsy. If my mouse batteries die when I'm on the road, I'll use my touchpad--I don't WANT to connect a back-up USB cable...kinda defeats the purpose of a wireless mouse. While the Ci70 IS bigger than the Ci75, it's certainly not too big to easily fit in a shirt pocket (or, more likely, a briefcase pocket).
The controls are responsive and smooth, and the cursor placement is as accurate as the best wired mouse. A power user may find the lack of palm support fatiguing, but I didn't have such an experience. In fact, having a higher profile than the Ci75 gives the Ci70 a distinct advantage in this area.
Overall, a strong entry from Kensington, and highly recommended.
