"Buy Rechargeable Batteries"
Pros: I have used rechargable batteries in my mice for years
2 batts sit in the wall charger and 2 in the mouse
I swap em as needed
I have thrown out 2 perfectly good bluetooth headsets when the battery died
User replaceable batteries is a huge plus for meCons: The on-mouse DPI setting is a waste for most users who will set it and forget it.
Summary: Not the best gaming mouse, but for business users, programmers, and other power users, this is probably the best choice.
No Linux version of the SetPoint software.

While you did say "most" users, I love on-mouse DPI. I like something of a slower response for accuracy, but sometimes my wrist or finger(s) start to hurt so bad I have to juice it up and it's nice to not have to go into a program to do that. -
I have the same mouse and it ROCKS. I put the rechargeables in and it says they are good for 215 days WOW. I forgot to turn it off and this morning it still says 215 days FINALLY LOGITECH got the message by finally giving the user the option to replace bad batteries instead of throwing out the MX REVOLUTION mouse after it not holding a charge longer than 3 days tops. BRAVO Logitech your finally listening to the cinsumer that puts bread in your mouths. Ciao.
