Pros Looks Great Feels Great
Cons Software and Support is Terrible
Summary Tried to install on WinXP Pro. It's Plug and Play but after starting the computer the mouse wouldn't do anything.
After hours of searching the Logitech Web Site, Their fix was to download a 40mb file (that was not digitally signed) and do a clean boot and clean install bypassing all Microsofts saftey features.
Logitechs software is terrible and extremely bulky. It's going back to the store today.
Pros Generally feels well built, because I got upset and slammed the mouse upside down couple of times to soften the middle click button.
Cons Middle click button is too stiff and really caused physical pain if you have already some form carpel tunnel.
Summary It it weren't for the stiff middle click button, this mouse is just okay. I'd prefer the Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical any day.
Pros Good sensitivity, decent side button placement, Glides well on pad till the "feet" get used up or move.
Cons Wears easy , all around sub par work that you'd not expect from Logitech
Summary The rubber coating gets worn fast , mouse feet get unglued quickly , left click get stuck after a some if its unused (1-2 hours) its annoying to have to press it for a couple of times to snap back in place , middle click is horribly uncomfortable to click/use.All around build and feel of the mouse feels really cheap. All in all not a product that you'd expect from Logitech , wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Pros Arrow goes where you put it on the screen.
Cons Wears easily and its software is inadequate. The coating that your fingers rest on the mouse gets worn away in a short time due to natural skin acids.
Summary If I had to do over, I would get a different mouse.Subpar quality.

Pros Laser technology (better movement detection, no annoying red light under mouse), never have to worry about batteries, great forward and back buttons, great scroll wheel, incredibly ergonomic
Cons Having a cord can be a hassle for mobile computing.
Summary I bought this mouse over a year ago for use with gaming applications, and it delivered better performance and precision than I had ever felt with any mouse before. The laser technology is great as it uses a single invisible beam for movement detection as opposed to the multiple bright red beams used for detection in optical mice. I keep this mouse plugged into my laptop at all times, as it makes navigating the web painless with its cleverly placed forward and back buttons, as well as a scroll wheel that you can use to scroll in four directions. I prefer having a wired mouse so I don't have to worry about batteries. Basically, I could not ask for more.
