"I would not recommend this product to others." on by lakewood0
Pros: Comfortable. Reliable USB connector.
Cons: Very poor mechanical action of mouse buttons. Signal interceptions (clashes with other devices).
Summary: I have tried many computer mouse devices, and I must say that I am quite thoroughly disappointed with this Logitech mouse. :( The design/appearance is not bad, and the mouse fits comfortably on the hand (especially for a notebook mouse). However, I have experienced a number of performance flaws with this mouse in particular. First and foremost, the clicking is just horrible. A single click very frequently results in double/multiple clicks--and the same vice versa. This poses many problems with even the simplest tasks. Simply dragging files on the desktop, highlighting text, or selecting a tab in Firefox can be troublesome. Secondly, although the wireless reception is up to standard per se, it is easily interrupted by other signals. In other words, expect to experience delays in your mouse if you are to keep your cellphone nearby. This mouse will momentarily stop working when you receive a text message or phonecall. :(

"nice mouse" on by fsphere
Pros: portable, compact, one AA battery to use, can attach usb adapter on mouse
Cons: beware it's small!
Summary: i fought with myself whether to buy it, but did so in the end because of the price. i thought the small size would be disastrous, but now that i think about it, it really doesn't bother me when i use it. nice little mouse!

"Pay full price get half the product" on by ocxnc
Pros: Compact design and it works
Cons: Deceptive advertising
Summary: Turn the package over and see all the nice things this mouse can do. Open the package at home and discover a six hour download [dial-up] to get all those nice features. For me,that's a 40-mile round trip to the nearest library broadband computer - about $8 in gas. Guess what? On the back of the package in print half a millimeter high [invisible without a magnifying glass] it reads "To enjoy all of the features of your mouse, download mouse software drivers at www.logitech.com/downloads. Hardware that is incomplete without its software but advertised as a complete product is not worth buying.

"New V220 not as good as the old one" on by Tigralady
Pros: small size, easy use on laptop surface, price, 1 battery
Cons: slow response, inert, not smooth,
Summary: Perhaps its just me, but the new V220 mouse is not equivalent to the old one - so buyers beware. This one wouldn't run at all on the top of my black desk - my old one did. I was looking forward to the new smaller size of the current V220 since I use my mouse on the top of my laptop most often. Sorry to say, I decided not to keep the new V220 due to the slowness and hesitation of movement. The price is right. The size is right for me (woman). I wanted a cheaper mouse since I transport my laptop fairly often and always run the risk of dropping my mouse.
Also, Logitech's web site needs help - in order to find out how to insert a battery, you need their "manual". In order to find their manual on their web site, you MUST use the word "manual", not battery or any other operational word search. I ended up paying a long distance call charge to find out I was not pushing in the cover release button far enough and/or had my thumb in the way of the cover popping loose. VERY frustrating. Also, their email support needs modification because I got an error message that said I needed "a value" but I could not see any field on their screen to which that message applied, plus it required system and part information that had no relavance to the question I wanted to ask. Oh, yes, and the part number they wanted was inside the battery compartment which I was trying to open. Come on folks! The new battery cover release buttons are a fine idea - the old V220 just didn't have that, plus without being able to see an illustration I had no idea my thumb/finger was in the way.
Since the old V220 served me well for over 3 yrs and much better than the new version, I can't help but wonder if the changes were made purposely to drive buyers up to the next price level???? -
"Decent Mouse and it works great for desktops!" on by rtobias71
Pros: Small size.
Comfortable.
The sides of the mouse have rubber for good gripping.
Responsive.
Long battery life!Cons: Range is very limited.
Summary: This is a great mouse if you do not wish to spend over $29 for a wireless type. You have to download the software from Logitech.com though, since it does not come with an installation CD. The software lets you configure the mouse button, even for volume control! The middle scroll button has a left and right movement in addition to the basic scroll, so that is a plus. If the range was better for the wireless receiver, I would have gave 5 star rating.
