"The Best Laptop Mouse I've Ever Used"
Pros: The mouse is a nice weight, the scroll wheel is very sufficient, and the battery life seems outstanding. The Logitech SetPoint software does not disappoint. I've used the mouse for gaming, as well, and it's quite sufficient for a gamer on-the-go.
Cons: The main selling point of the mouse, the feature to lock the mouse onto the laptop, seems a bit gimmicky. There are also no side buttons, for navigating web pages or programming for games. It also has a nondescript style.
Summary: In the end, the features of the mouse that are worth griping about seem so small compared the the pros. Like the Cnet review seemed to say, I can definitively comment that this is best laptop mouse that I've ever used. It has the most robust feature set that I've encountered, and seems to execute on each element very well. And unlike mice that compete with this one, the $60 price point seems competitive. Anything else at this price, like the Windows Arc Mouse or some of the Kensington products that I was browsing over seemed to focus too much on style, without really paying too much attention to the strength of the feature set that a mouse really needs. In the end, I feel no regret making this my laptop mouse of choice.
