The black-and-silver design fits in well with the current look and feel of Mac desktops and laptops, and we liked the swiveling base--it rotates 90 degrees to reveal the battery compartment (two AAA batteries, included) and a hidden slot to store the small USB receiver when traveling.
The Pebble sits high in the hand--unlike most other mice, it doesn't slope forward--measuring nearly 1.5 inches high both front and back. We could see this being uncomfortable over time, but it's largely a matter of personal preference. The Logitech MX Air is less than 0.25 inch high at its thinnest point. We also weren't crazy about the basic two-button interface (plus a standard click wheel), as by now we're used to having extra thumb buttons for specialized tasks like flipping forward and back in our Web-browser history.
