The good:Swiveling body hides USB dongle inside; stylish black-and-silver design.
The bad:Thicker body may not be comfortable to all; only two buttons, plus a click wheel.
The bottom line:The Macally Pebble Wireless Laser Mouse is an inexpensive 2.4GHz wireless mouse that works equally well on Macs or PCs--but its unusual shape may not be what you're looking for.
Virtually anyone who uses a laptop for an extended period of time eventually plugs in a wireless mouse. The seemingly limitless number of choices out there make it hard to stand out from the crowd unless you have a special feature to tout, such as a Bluetooth connection (the Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000) or built-in gyroscope (the Logitech MX Air).
Macally makes accessories specifically designed to work with Apple products, but in the case of the $29 Pebble Wireless Laser Mouse, this is essentially a generic laser mouse that will work on any PC with a USB port.
