"Cool Gadget"
Pros: I really liked the modern arc shape and small profile. The unique design gets lot of attention when I use it.
Cons: The side thumb button positioning, although minor, is too far forward to ergonomically use it. My biggest problem was that after 3 weeks of use, the scroll wheel stopped working.
Summary: I think Microsoft definately has something with this new mouse. The arc design allows the unit to be both compact and feel like a normal mouse when using it. If Microsoft can improve the durability of the scroll wheel it'll be a popular buy.
Updated on Oct 24, 2008I really liked this mouse and figured the issue I encountered was isolated. After a little over a week with a new mouse the scroll wheel for this one stopped working too.
