"A very nice mouse, but it gets 'used' very quickly ..." on by smeyersm

Pros: It's rechargeable, so you can keep using it.

    Cons: Can't support intense usage.
    Batteries get low quickly
The surface needs to have contrast for it to work

Summary: I really dislike this mouse after using it for about 5 months now, it came with the wireless keyboard I got, wasn't cheap ... and after only a few months of usage the rubber on the scroll wheel lets go !
I've been using Logitech keyboard/mouse combinations for years but liked the look of the Microsoft keyboard ... I've been using an MX for two years now, and it still goes perfect ... I'll be replacing this entire set with a Logitech set now, sorry MicroSoft, this one just doesn't cope with 8 hours of working each day.

"Feels nice, great battery life." on by bphelpsen

Pros: Looks, feel, wireless, side buttons. I have had it go an entire week on a single charge, with about 12-14 hours of use a day.

Cons: After about 4 months the scroll wheel rubber will start to degrade and become gummy, almost like its being stretched out.

Summary: I have owned two of these, the first I bought, the second I got from microsoft after the first mouse wheel rubber became so unusable, they replaced it for free. If it wasnt for the mouse wheel rubber degrading and basically falling off, it would be a great mouse.

"Not a good Purchase" on by chrisssrock

Pros: It looks promising from the design. Sleek. Shiny. Wireless.

Cons: Not ergonomic at all..very low
Hands hurt after a few minutes
Bought 4 months ago and now it says low battery even though you sit in on the charger for hours. Then it stops.

Summary: I bought the mouse because I am a computer teacher and use computers everyday. Recently my hands began hurting due to heavey mouse and keyboard use. So I bought this "ERGONOMIC MOUSE". It is not ergonomic at all. It is smaller and lower than most mice. I bought this mouse 4 months ago and now it stopped working. It keeps saying Battery low, even although I charge it all day. The mouse stops moving. I also purchased it because of the rechargeable wireless feature. It appears that wireless works, but the rechargeable part doesnt.
Don't buy this at all, not worth it.
Not what was advertised, "Ergonomic" - Not at all. :(

"DO NOT BUY THIS MOUSE" on by huddwah

    Pros: It is rechargeable
    It's large
    looks nice

Cons: it doesn't feel comfortable to use
    isn't ergonomic at all
your hand will feel like it's in an odd and unnatural position while you use it

Summary: read the cons, it really sux. I am quite annoyed with myself for buying it.
gave it half a star because it looks ok

"It's a nice looking dud" on by blogasur

    Pros: Nice looking, great conectivity

Cons: It won't hold a charge for more than an hour, even if left charging all night, the back button is awkward to use

Summary: I've always owned microsoft peripherals and I like them all, this one is the exception
