could be a great product

Pros: it looks great

Cons: bugged as hell

Review: At first i tried this mouse on windows XP worked fine (even without any installs). Brought this mouse home and the chain of disappointment started. At first there was huge problems with windows XP 64bit edition - the software of this mouse refused to work. The Razer support did come up with some ideas, but nothing useful. So I reinstalled my PC to windows XP 32bit. Next disappointment - u need to have large hands or the mouse will feel bad and the side buttons will be impossible to press. As I am a rather small person this WAS a problem. And another problem is - it's just something wrong with it - I can use it for days and nothing bad happens, but there are moments when Razer stops working i can move the mouse as i wish, the cursor just blinks and stands still it occurs for a few seconds, but still in middle of a hardcore game this can make u mad. If u are a graphics designer - forget this mouse, the mouse doesnt work or draws jagged line if u move ur hand slowly (or maybe its just my mouse - defected by nature). When Razer works it works fine, but i red in many forums that the Razer team has problem with software for this mouse, and these mouses comes more often bugged than fully working. So its up to u to risk or not.
Ohh and forget about KVM switch when using this one.

Nice features, poor ergonomics

Pros: 2000DPI! 32kb buffer RAM! Fast!! A very pretty blue!!!

Cons: Do you want carpal tunnel after using this for 10 minutes?

Review: Any mouse is as good as its ability to keep your hand and wrist comfy. While I applaud the speed and features this mouse has, I couldn't applaud because my wrist got tired after using it only for a few minutes. And as the review said, I have large hands.

Not using a wrist rest helps somewhat, but I like using s wrist rest.

The killer is in its design, despite requiring large hands. Length and width are okay but it's a squat little mouse that doesn't fill the whole hand (which suggests someone with small hands might appreciate this more!). Worse, the hard translucent plastic that sticks out at the sides is bothersome.

If one does a lot of gaming and used their fingertips to use all the mouse actions, this mouse probably does a good job. But for any other function requiring high DPI (graphics and ad design) it's a pain. Literally. :(

The Logitech G5 has a fuller feel and probably better suited for multipurpose computing.

Excellent gaming mouse, highly recommended.

Pros: Cool design, 2000dpi Laser, Lot's of programmable butons.

Cons: 4 side buttons take getting used to, scroll-wheel is too far forward on the mouse.

Review: I just bought this today, and I was debating over whether or not to get this or the Logitech G5. I chose mainly because of the cool design, and while playing with the Best Buy store models, I found that the Copperhead was more comfortable in my hand, plus the blue backlight matches my Logitech G11 keyboard. It tracks extremely precisely, although it requires some tweaking to get it to be the right sensitivity. As I stated earlier, the 4 side buttons are oddly placed, but after less than 2 hours of use, I am used to them already. The scroll-wheel is slightly too far forward, but it's not too bad of a stretch to scroll with it. Other than that, this is by far the best mouse I have ever used. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Awsome Looking, Great Gaming!!

Pros: How light and smooth it moves,4 programable button, light matches my G15 Great!!

Cons: The right 2 buttons are hard to use,but then i just bought it today might just need getting used to.

Review: Bought it at Best Buy for 49.99 and playing BF2 i can use all the buttons i can get. And i recommend getting the logictech G15 keyboard or G11 the tempest blue matches great!

Not one problem, great performance

Pros: Very precise, rugged, sleek design, no frills

Cons: large hands take some getting used to, bright leds are hard to conceal for sleep

Review: The Razer is the best mouse I have ever had. I don't use any of the extra buttons at all. I have pretty much no need for them. I was used to gripping a mouse, but it glides great and never goes haywire like my previous microsoft optical. It matches my Saitek Eclipse to a T. It's a solid color, black. Very cool and admired. Satisfied customer.

The Best mouse you ever need

Pros: Everything about it is a pro

Cons: No cons at all.

Review: Razer is the only mouse anyone ever need. I have purchased a total of 7 mice, including 3 copperhead,2 diamonbacks and 2 krait. All with its own eXactMats. you will never want to use anyother mouse after owning a razer

Ideal mouse if it worked

Pros: Everything I wanted in a mouse

Cons: Breaks down, bad support

Review: It seemed like a great mouse, lightweight, fast, sensitive and adjustable. Ambidextrous design. (I hate right-handed only mice, something just puts me off - like the mouse is situational and will only work in some specific setting. Maybe it's just me. Sometimes it's fun to play around left-handed, too. Most of all though, I prefer the feel of ambidextrous mice more.) And it looks great.

However I never got to actually use it, as it was DOA. I emailed Razer's tech support, and still have no reply 4 days later. I did everything they suggested in their FAQs, newest drivers and firmware, and tried it on 4 different computers. It simply doesn't work.

So get a new one, right? As I was looking up help, I noticed a lot of people seem to be having issues with it, also. It seems the mouse often breaks down, and Razer is picky about when to replace them. Logitech and Microsoft never gave me trouble about replacing broken mice, even on lesser problems.

Conclusion: I'm sending it back and getting something else because I'm afraid it'll stop working shortly after the warranty is up, and I'll be stuck with a dead mouse that cost more than the average mouse. I'm still convinced that while it's actually working it would be about the best, or at least my favorite, but I don't feel like buying mice regularly as if they were expendable.

Not sure what to get now, I'm thinking maybe the Logitech G3 (one of the few Logitech mice around now that still have an ambidextrous design while also being good as a gaming mouse).

Died after six months No support if bought new on EBay

Pros: Great mouse when it works.

Cons: No support if bought on EBay. Expensive!

Review: I bought a Copperhead back in October from EBay . It was brand new and sealed. I really loved this mouse... This weekend it died. :dead: It still lights up and the buttons seem to work but the mouse does not move. I tried a different PC. I found a Knowledge Base item on Razer's website that said if this happens call tech support. Their site also states that they warranty their mouse for 2 years. I contacted them and they said that they would NOT RMA it because I bought it on EBay. So, beware!! The darn thing cost me $95.00.
Look to Logitech for better support!!
Updated
I e-mailed the guy that sold it to me and he said that he bought it Best Buy but he didn't have the receipt. I foward this to Razer and still no RMA.

On one of Razer's forums I found that there is a lot of people who bought the Blue Cooperhead having the same issue.

BEWARE!!

Best mouse available! Period!

Pros: Uses the latest tech available for pc mouse, looks great the pulsing logo is sweet, on board memory which is a premier in the market, can be used by right and left handed people, firmware upgradeable

Cons: somewhat expensive, although it comes with seven programmable buttons two of them aren't really practible because they are on the opposite side from the mouse where your thumb is

Review: If you want the best gaming mouse available and don't mind paying for it this is the one. It looks great, really really great with it's light and logo. They really pimped this mouse and it will attract attention.
Because of it's 2000 dpi it is very precise and fast, you need less movement to move your cursor which really makes working behind a pc a joy.
In everyday use you can create a different profile so it's not that responsive, great while surfing the web. In all you can create 5 different profiles via it's drivers.
The latest ones can be downloaded the razer website.
The only thing I liked for them is to explain in the manual what all the advance settings will do for your mouse's behavior.

Features and Led's Paradise

Pros: On Board Memory, 2000dpi, 1ms responde, beautifull blue led's

Cons: Not very comfortable, right buttons are impossible to use for right handed people.

Review: This is the best mouse in the world.
With it's awsome feature's like 2000dpi, 1ms response, laser system, it deliver's perfect action for gaming where u can use on the fly sensitivity or the best feature and unique is the on board memory where u can store youre profiles ang take you're mouse to woteva pc without installing driver's. It makes it easier to change profiles for each application.

It is awsome in the dark, and it's surface is awsome for sweatiie hands.

Expensive, heave, good for designing, gaming, nice mouse.

Pros: Very Fast, Sensitivity, good material, good user guide :)

Cons: Heavy, expensive !

Review: I like it because it is "my money", it is good for game (sure or not ?),also you can use it for CAD. If you buy it, you will buy another expensive pad !...for this mouse because it have no power without a compatible mouse pad !!!

Worked 10 days, left button quit working, right button sticky. razerzone.com said they won't fix.

Pros: Nice color, pointer is quick. Mouse settings are adjustable.

Cons: Laser light jiggles, hard to click on something. No help from the Razerzone.com the maker, 3-4 daily autoresponders giving a new tech id. If not purchased from them, no help will be given.

Review: Go with a different brand and company that stands behind their equipment. Took three days of 3-4 daily autoresponders before receiving a reply. They won't cover their equipment if not purchased directly from their site. They will tell you to contact the business you bought it from. If it is past the warranty... your out of luck. I went back to the company I purchased the Razer copperhead from and had to fight them to get a new one, as it was still under the "20" day warranty.

AMAZING GAMING MOUSE

Pros: incredible precision, very very very good looking and comfortable. very customizable with side keys. u can change the speed with the buttons on the side of the mouse. looks 100x better in person

Cons: none at all

Review: If your a true gamer this is the mouse for u. simpy perfect

Outstanding Gaming Mouse

Pros: Seven, easily programmable buttons; Really cool blue glow; Comfortable and well-shaped; Very accurate laser and 2000 DPI; Onboard memory for frequent computer-switchers

Cons: Scroll wheel a little bit hard to reach in the middle of an action game; Two buttons on the side your thumb isn't on are rendered nearly useless

Review: I have been using a Logitech MX518 for a while, and when I got a little spare cash, decided to buy a new laser gaming mouse. Comparing this one and Logitech's new G5, I chose to go with the Copperhead. Not a mistake on my part.
It is a very accurate mouse and, like Logitech's gaming mice, can have its sensitivity adjusted in mid-game. The software makes it very easy to program the extra buttons.
Also, the blue light is... really cool.
Updated
CNet was slightly wrong about this product in their unofficial review for it in their greatest mice and keyboards section: you can adjust the sensitivity with the two buttons on the right of the mouse, decently easy to reach with your pinky. Also, does it really matter that you have to install software to make the most use out of it? Will ten minutes of your time affect the long time use of this product?
